Mr. Brauer's assessment would be generally accurate,
though my relatives in rural Minnesota repeatedly say
that "the city" sucks up most of MNDoT's funding, so
rural legislators might be inclined to vote against
what could be perceived as "Minneapolis pork".

However, the Access Project promoters are conveniently
going around the legislature.  Yes, that's right, the
Access Project will not come in front of the
legislature; oh my, that would be the the democratic
process at work!
