A plan to put slot machines at Canterbury Park could face an even tougher time in light of recent controversy surrounding the Minnesota State Lottery, some legislators said. <br />   <br />That's because the bill that passed the House last year and is pending in the Senate calls for the lottery to own a casino at the track and contract with a private company to operate it. <br />   <br />Rep.
