Hello list,

You're all invited to a concert tonight, Friday, January 2, 2004 to benefit
the campaign to repeal conceal-and-carry!

WHAT: Musicians Fire Back: Blast Decibels, Not Bullets
WHERE: The Triple Rock, 629 Cedar Ave, Minneapolis
WHEN: All ages concert 5-9:30 p.m., $10 at door
                21+ concert, 10 p.m., $6
WHO: (All ages) Somerset, The Common Place, Ray Jones Special, Goodnight Sun
(21+) Dying Midwestern, Small Towns, Hinken
SPEAKERS: Rep. Jim Davnie; several Minnesota youth and musicians

All folks are welcome. (Just not guns.) The benefit concert idea originated
with some band members from Faribault who are concerned about the cultural
effect of
Conceal and Carry and the safety of youth in outstate towns like Faribault
and Cold Spring.
Advance tickets may still be available at
www.triplerocksocialclub.com, for $8. More information also at
www.endgunviolence.com (Citizens for a Safer Minnesota).

This concert should be a heck of a lot more fun than the Park Board meeting.
Not that people shouldn't GO to the Park Board meeting. If you do, stop by
afterwards!
