I would like to express my admiration for the St. Paul
City Council's ability to find a compromise that accommodates
the interests of smokers, non-smokers, and businesses.
I hope that the Minneapolis City Council can show the
same wisdom and flexibility.

I would also like to suggest that "smoking rooms" can
be designed for even small bars and restaurants using
creative interior design.  It should be possible to
create such rooms using glass walls that could be as
small as four booths or tables.  In fact, the smaller
the area the easier it would be to ventilate.
