Well, I hope the non-smokers aren't sitting downwind on the patio when I
light a cigar some nice summer evening. They'll have to move indoors. What
goes 'round, comes 'round.

Me:
In my conversations with anti-smoking advocates, they say no cancer link has
been made to workers when customers smoke outdoors. Thus, they are not
pushing for an outdoor ban. (True, there may be practical political
calculations, but I heard this early in the debate from a source I trust.)
I know it doesn't fit the "zealot" characterization of some, but there is
more thoughtfulness hear than those on either pole of the debate may
believe.
PS As much as I am a Mike Hohmann fan, I'll try to find restaurant with
enough sense to have a no-cigar policy on their patio!
