Word on the street is that Steve McClellan has been fired at First
Avenue. One person connected with the club confirmed this, but that's
all I have right now. Don't know why it's happening.

Dude IS Mr. First Ave. He's been First Ave's guru forever, and even
though hundreds of people have made the club what it is, he's done more
than anyone to make this local music scene.

There are hundreds of us geezers who can regale you with tales of
McClellan's passion, soul and cantankerousness - which will undoubtedly
fill acres of print soon -  but I mostly wanted to let folks know what
I've heard and shake the tree for more news.
