[Mpls] West High School

[Jim Bernstein]

I have a West High pennant (Greg's wife is right, green and white)from
1939 - the year my Uncle Bill graduated from West high School. It has
West High in white felt on green felt background but no nickname.   FYI,
old Minneapolis Vocational High School was nicknamed the Volts!

My wife, an '86 Washburn grad, believes that West HS was the Lakers, 
with colors of green and white.  The current Lakers, SW High, were 
(according to her memory) the Indians before West closed.
