[Mpls] Ostrows: we should have closed schools now

There is a problem with everything claimed by Paul and Julie Ostrow. The
problem is that no one can believe any of the information that has been
provided to date by MPS regarding the school closings.

The MPS had 800 more classrooms than they needed so they are going to close
10 schools. Let's see 800/10=80. So there are 80 classrooms to be
eliminated in each of those 10 buildings? Who is kidding who? Even if
there are 20 in each buildings, that's only the elimination of 200
classrooms. So they still have an overage of 600 classrooms but now it's a
problem solved? Again who is kidding who?

To be sure, there will be other cuts and I have no doubt that the MPS will
blame it on their inability to close the schools. But I won't believe the
MPS reasons for doing that because they were obviously fabricating reasons
to support what they otherwise wanted to do which was to close a bunch of
buildings. Like the boy who cried wolf, why should we believe them any more
when they give the reasons for the budget cuts than when they wanted to
close the buildings. And if they are not believed, the MPS only have
themselves to blame.

There is a much bigger problem created than just paying for education when
people feel, with good reason, that the facts are being manipulated.
