Getting to the Bottom of the Ballot presents:
Putting a Price on Politics
A multi-party, non-partisan workshop on how money influences local politics
Tuesday, March 16th, 79 p.m.
Southwest High School (47th & Chowen Ave. S.)
How does money influence local and state politics? Who enforces the
campaign finance laws? How do candidates finance political campaigns? Can
individuals make a difference with campaign contributions or really gain
"access" by giving? How do local corporations distribute their political
resources?
Join us as we examine the relationship between money and politics with a
panel of area leaders and practitioners on March 16th.
