[Mpls] Bus strike , McManus and Thank you, RT!

Thank you, Mayor Rybak, for addressing the hidden sufferings of thousands of folks affected by the bus strike.  Several clients who attend the community support program where I work (a drop-in center for adults living in Hennepin County with serious and persistent mental illness) have no way of getting to their jobs, psychiatrists appointments, day treatment programs, et cetera.  Those who cannot afford a car, and this includes most of our clients, are really suffering.  I'll send their accounts to you as soon as possible.

And thank you, Mayor Rybak, for selecting William McManus for Police Chief of Minneapolis.  While I supported his appointment from the beginning, I must say he's exceeded my already high expectations.
