I think the Strib was pretty clear. Pensions are governed by pretty
strict eligibility standards. If you were hired before a certain date,
you're in one plan. After that, another.
Forte wasn't in the most lucrative plan. That's why he felt he HAD to
move, either elsewhere in the city or to another plan. No conspiracy
here - just by-the-book pension rules.
I'll leave the questions/insinuations about his successor for more
knowledgeable people.
