Volunteer and Honor the Wirth Legend
Please plan to attend an important general meeting MONDAY, MAY 10th - 7PM to 8 PM, at 3900 Bryant Avenue South in the community building in Lyndale Farmstead Park.
The Minneapolis Parks Legacy Society is hosting a series of public events called a Wirth-While Weekend, on June 18, 19 and 20

The impetus for these events is the dedication of the Theodore With Statue Garden (A statue of Theodore Wirth and several statues of children surrounding him) at the Chalet in Theodore Wirth Park. Sixty-six descendts of Theodore Wirth are coming to the dedication of the Theodore Wirth Statue Garden from around the world to attend these events.

Volunteers needed - Saturday, June 19
Wirth Chalet, Plymouth Avenue and Theodore Wirth Parkway
9:00 - 1:00 Volunteers needed for set up, serve refreshments, clean up, coordination.
12:45 - 2:00 Additional antique cars for the motorcade from Chalet to The Historic Wirth Home at 3954 Bryant Avenue South
Theodore Wirth Home and Administration Building, National Historic Site
at Lyndale Farmstead Park 3954 Bryant Avenue South
12:00 - 5:30 Hospitality, guest book, refreshments, set up and clean up
1:00 - 5:00 guides and coordination
1:00 - 7:00 Musicians needed, various times on site "answer people" needed
5:00 - 7 PM Help needed to serve dinner to the Dignitaries The Legacy Society and The Wirth Family and clean up help
Volunteers needed - Sunday, June 20
ROSE GARDENS 12:00 - 1:00 Musician and Hospitality
Minnehaha Falls Park 12:30 - 3:30 Volunteers needed to serve refreshment, set up and clean up.
These will be exciting events and we invite you to participate.
