[TB]  I think Pearlstein's Center is civil.  While I agree with the
suggestion that they have an agenda, I think they are civil about it.

Unlike some other groups on both sides, they can accept a certain
amount of balance.  A couple of years back, they had Ted Mondale, who
at the time was Met Council Chair, on a Smart Growth panel.

Sometimes you can get some interesting insights from those with who you
don't agree.  On a panel with a couple of newspaper people and former
Congressman Penny this could well be one of those situations as he is
the only one currently involved in the nitty gritty of the political
process.
