[Mpls] "Doing" the Crown Hydro project!

    Like Chris,  I don't fear any particular thing; it's the unknown and unpredictable that I would like to have some insurance against.  And as I've
said before, $10 million is probably way too light to cover the possibilities.  As Chris pointed out, I can understand why Crown Hydro would like to
avoid as much liability as they can.
    As a frequent user of the Bridge and the Falls - I've walked over and back about four times a week for the last five years,  I've used the photos
that Sean posted and others like it as sources for my students' many projects for about seven years, I have a gig or two of photos that I've taken of the
area, there is an 8' x 16' mural of the Falls circa 1854 (St. Anthony side view) that my students created last month in the hall outside my classroom
which appears in the video we created about the area - yeah, I'm a user of the area and I don't want it messed up.  The history of the Falls is full of
grand ideas; that's why it's so much fun to study.  Hydro power and historical interpretative centers are wonderful things; I just want some assurances
that it gets done right and that there are plenty of contingencies in place to accommodate the many mischievous spirits that still play in this very
spectacular spot on our planet.  Fourth graders really get a kick out of learning about how the tunnel collapsed and how one mill blew up and another or
two and more burned down, "Wow, really, way cool" - let's not give them another catastrophe to read about when the study Minneapolis history.
