[Mpls] The Death Penalty and the 59A race

As I recall, when Valdis sought endorsement by the
Greens for a city council seat in 2001, one issue that
arose around his differences with the state platform
of the party was that he supported the death penalty.
This was, of course, a big turnoff for Greens.
