[Mpls] voter turnout

Unlike all you early risers, I voted at about 11:15 a.m. in 8-4 where
I've voted for 15 years or so. I was #1001. Blew me away! I'm so proud
of my nabors. The poll judges were managing very nicely--there was no
waiting. Voting on the judges was a tedious little exercise. No one from
MoveOn.org that I could see. One lone woman across the street with a
sign to "vote for human and civil rights." When I asked for a second
ballot, the judges were adamant that that would NOT happen. So the 'vote
early and often' routine of Illinois doesn't work here. Saw some people
from MoveOn.org across the street from Green Central School, another
precinct in my neighborhood. They seemed to be having a good time. Sun
was out.
