After having attended one of the public meetings (which was attended bt
Judy Farmer, and briefly by Dennis Shapiro) I am afraid I have to agree
with Michael. One of the teachers attending the meeting even asked if
they were holding the meetings to placate the public and then would
implement the plan they already had. I hate to admit it but even though
the answer was "NO" the way the evening proceeded it seemed like a
venting session that would mean nothing when the PLAN is implemented. I
think the group of consultants checking out the buildings are the group
with the most say and the PLAN will be based on their info combined with
the power, connections and politics Michael refers to above.
