[Mpls] Betcha didn't know - City taxpayers own the Saks building!

"Officials in Minneapolis were trying to determine what the departure of
Saks would mean for the city, which owns the building the store occupies."

"In Minneapolis, Saks is bound by a lease with Brookfield that runs through
2015. Brookfield in turn has a lease with the city. Neither lease can be
changed without city consent, said Chuck Lutz, deputy development director."

Vicky comments:  I'm laughing so hard I can't get up. Brookfield, the KING
of DEFAULTS, thinks the lease terms can't be changed!!!!!!

Still wondering how many times Minneapolis residents have to be duped before
they figure out what the DFL has done to their City.
