Anti-War Protest Called for Kerry Rally in Minneapolis

Summary: John Kerry, the Democratic presidential
candidate, shall be appearing at a rally Thursday Oct
21st. Located at the Metrodome in Minneapolis, MN the
doors shall be opening at 4:30 pm.

With this in mind members of the peace and global
justice community are calling for an anti-war
demonstraction be held at the rally. We shall 
meet at the corner of 5th Street South and 11th Avenue
South in Minneapolis.

Given that John Kerry and John Edwards are both
supportive of the war in Iraq we believe this to be
completely appropriate. We look forward to our friends
and allies of the growing peace and justice
communities including Code Pink and WAMM to join us.
Even if you intend to vote for John Kerry this public
display of anti-war sentiment is needed.
