[Mpls] 13th Ward Race

There's an excellent article on today's City Pages about what is shaping up as one of the more hotly contested ward races in the City, the 13th Ward.  Here's the link:

One key statement is that both Lisa McDonald and Betsey Hodges think it will take 100K to run the race and both think they can raise that amount!  Surely that's gotta be a record for Ward race.  

One minor quibble -- Steve Minn is quoted as saying that the area hasn't been represented by a Democrat in 25 years.  However DFLer Carol Johnson representated that area from 1987-1991, although she was so ineffective I guess Minn could be considered technically correct.
