[Mpls] County, Twins have ballpark deal

I think that tax may end when the bonds are paid off. Maybe that's just
what they're trying to imply when it's not true. The issues I have with
this are a ton. For example, what does it say about priorities when the
city of MPLS can not raise a sales tax to pay for emergency services but the
county can to pay for a stadium? Others have asked the same.

I'm curious what, if anything, the city of Minneapolis can do to fight this.
Afterall, this is the MPLS email list so we should keep a MPLS focus on this
one.

I suppose this also means that with the "hospitality tax" in downtown bars
and restaurants we'll all be paying 10.15%. I have mixed feelings about a
new Twins ballpark, but I do wonder if/when the "temporary" tax on
hospitality is due to expire.
