To add to this, she is also scheduled to speak at St Joan of Arc Church on May 8th for both the 9 and 11 services.  This may change though.

Goodman, journalist commonly known for her work on the
popular radio news program "Democracy Now" which is
also available on satelite TV and cable.

KFAI Welcomes Amy Goodman to the Twin Cities for the
³Un-Embed the
Media² Tour!

Join KFAI, the Minneapolis Television Network, and the
Saint Paul Neighborhood Network for the ³Un-Embed the
Media² Tour 2005. Democracy Now! host, and
internationally acclaimed journalist Amy Goodman is on
a national tour marking the launch of the paperback
edition of ³The Exception to the Rulers: Exposing Oily
Politicians, War Profiteers, and
the Media That Love Them.²

Goodman has reported on topics and issues related to
Israel and the Occupied Territories, Cuba, Mexico,
East Timor, Nigeria, Haiti, and was the first
journalist ever to interview the jailed US citizen
Lori Berenson, serving a life sentence as a political
prisoner in Peru.

³We¹re delighted Amy Goodman is returning to the Twin
Cities to support independent media in the Twin Cities
at a time when media is becoming increasingly
consolidated,² said KFAI¹s board president Jo Ann
Vano.

All proceeds of this event will benefit KFAI Radio,
the Minneapolis Television Network, and the Saint Paul
Neighborhood Network.
