Firefighters Union Supports Hauser in 8th Ward
The Minneapolis Firefighters Local 82 has endorsed Marie Hauser’s campaign to become the next City Council Member for the 8th Ward. Local 82 represents over 400 women and men who provide emergency medical and fire response in the City of Minneapolis.
To date Hauser has garnered support from:
-         3rd District Minnesota Nurses, 
-         Minnesota Women’s Political Caucus, 
-         Minneapolis Building and Construction Trades Council, 
-         Minnesota Nurses Association, 
-         Minnesota Teamsters DRIVE and 
-         MN NOW PAC 
in addition to the Firefighters Local 82 in her effort to become the DFL endorsed candidate on Saturday, April 30th  at Martin Luther King Park.
Marie Hauser has lived in the 8th Ward for 25 years, worked as a mental health nurse for 30 years, and is actively involved in neighborhood, city and political issues. She is currently a commissioner on the Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board.
