So if the government bans books, then we should all be good
citizens and stop reading? And when the black-market (no
pun intended) starts selling books on street corners we
should all be socially responsible citizens and not buy any?
Could I avoid my responsibility for the drug war by buying
drugs from White middle-class dealers in the suburbs?
I could grow my own marijuana in my home without affecting
anyone and still be sent to prison for years because of it.
Really, there's something crazy going on and it's not drug
use. With the proviso that alcohol is as, or more dangerous,
than marijuana. When's the last time you heard of a college
student dying of binge marijuana smoking?
That's the problem with talking politics off the top of your
head, rather than talking values. You're far more likely to
say something that's logically inconsistent.
