I listened to Nick Coleman's show on occasion. I enjoyed the show. Nick
has an excellent sense of humor - and enjoyed doing the show. His rips on
the Powerline bloggers Hindrocket and Big Trunk (the Time Magazine Blog of
the year, and winner of the City Pages Best Meltdown Award) were hilarious.

Wendy Wilde's show would go after Michele Bachmann (the Michele Bachmann
morality minutes were hysterical). However other than that, I didn't hear
her talk about gay issues much. She often seems to be repeating Democratic
talking points.

I checked Nick's story out with other Air America sources. Nick's story
checks out.
Once the infamous Air America memo got posted on the Centrisity blog, and
City Pages followed up on the story, Janet Roberts came up with a cover
story.
Here was her original memo.
6. Certain Subjects Prohibited
JR Broadcasting will not permit discussion of the issues of gun control,
abortion, or gay marriage. It is the policy of JR Broadcasting that
discussion around these issues tend to be more sensationalistic than
substantial. In order to provide for reasoned, substantial discussion of
other issues, JR Broadcasting prohibits discussion of gun control,
abortion, or gay marriage. Exceptions to this policy can be obtained prior
to broadcast by request in writing to the station Manager.
EY: Janet Robert later said this memo was a draft. I later got a copy of
the memo, and the memo was not labeled draft. Both Nick and a couple other
radio sources confirmed the authenticity of the memo, and said it was not a
draft, and they never received the so-called "updated copy" from Janet Robert.
