One of the most fascinating pieces of our Minneapolis History is open  today. 
Across from the LRT or part of a lovely walk through Minnehaha  Park...This 
is the first wood frame house west of the Mississippi and the  birthplace of 
Minneapolis.

An Early  Minneapolis Christmas

John H. Stevens House, birthplace of Minneapolis,  will celebrate an “Early 
Minneapolis Christmas” at the House on Saturday,  December 3, and Sunday, 
December 4, from 1 to 5 p.m.

Join us for a  Christmas sing-along with Lee at our antique piano. Enjoy hot 
cider and light  refreshments. Bring your kids to make vintage Christmas 
crafts!

simpler times for  young and old alike.
