It's fair game when there is a City Council member who
got almost all her campaign contributions from outside
the district from developers with an interest in
getting something in return.
Transparency is important.
The donations from Brian Rice and his two PACs to
Hennepin County Commissioner candidates and to Park
Board candidates are also useful to keep in mind.
Both Hennepin County and the Minneapolis Park Board
have Rice on retainer for Lobbying.
If the strib was doing it's job, they would have had a
story about Colvin Roy's campaign donations before the
general election.
Jackie Cherryhomes has an interest in pushing various
development proposals - and it will be worth watching
Don Samuels votes on Jackie's proposals for the same
reason.
