[Mpls] RE: Should the Mpls Schools be operating a radio station at all

I'm wondering why Ray Marshall seems to think that the only solution to
making up the funding shortfall from MnDOT's stupid decision is to cut
$400,000 from elsewhere in the MPS budget?

Is it not possible to find ways to raise additional funds to help make up
that gap? Is it not possible that KBEM might find some ways to cut their
budget so that less money is needed?

Heck, it may even be possible, if enough citizens raise their voices, to get
MnDOT to reconsider their stupid decision.

In case anyone missed Scott Vreeland's post yesterday, here's who you can
contact to complain:

Contact MnDOT
Commissioner Carol Molnau: commissioner at dot.state.mn.us or 651-296-3000
Marthland Nooklala, traffic safety and technology:
marthland.nooklal at dot.state.mn.us or 651-296-1615

There's lots of approaches that can be taken for people who keep an open
mind to problem-solving.
