[Mpls] Brian Rice gets Good Return on Investment

I went to the Park Board Annual Meeting.  Seems like
they've cleaned up their acts a bit since I last was
at a meeting.  

They did hire Brian Rice again - without shame.  I
asked both John Erwin and Jon Olson about the
conflicts of interest involved.  Both said Rice does a
very good job with lobbying.  

After the meeting there was a reception for some of
the former commissioners announced.  However members
of the public who wanted to get into the reception
were told firmly they needed to leave.  

I thought this was rather rude of the Park Board. 
What was it - they didn't want to hang out with the
great unwashed voter?  

Brian Rice gets a good return on investment for his
fundraising and constributions to Park Board
campaigns.  The question is whether the Minneapolis
Taxpayers are well served.
