[Mpls] Turbocharged Truth-in-Taxation: NO!

Personally, I would love to see the city of Minneapolis impliment a system 
like this on it's own.  It's another vote for the people, another choice 
they get to make.  It's funny how quick we are to label such a proposal as 
being part of this political camp or that.  Last I checked, Switzerland 
wasn't run by a bunch of "Neocons" or anything of that nature.  And they 
regularly vote on issues more detailed than what this proposal would bring 
about.  Alls this system says is that if enough people don't seem happy with 
a specific levy increase, then there will be a referendum on it.  It gives 
the community more time to disuss the issue and vote on it.  I don't see how 
that means that programs will be many referendums let alone no votes.  The 
people will vote for tax increases if they see value in them.
