[Mpls] Mayor's "slick" piece, or newsletter

So I guess we should not endorse Scott Benson who sent out his mailer last
week then? Or Gary Schiff, or even Peter McLaughlin who sent one out just a
short time ago? And we should quit endorsing Margret Anderson Kelliher
because I got a fancy mailing paid for by the government from her all the
time when I lived in her ward. Same with Martin Sabo. Or maybe newsletter
are good and let the government stay in touch with the community? And
sending them at the begining of the year is common, and even a normal thing
to do.

Earl, you are a close confident of the county comm, and is his senate
district chair, and you are doing anything you can to get him elected (just
go to your senate district web site that still features Peter on the front
page, something very unusual to do with DFL money)

To say we should base wheather we endorse someone based on 1 mailer, one
that was full of information and seems very useful, is absurd and it seems
to show that the McLaughlin camp is grasping at straws because the mayor is
doing a very good job.

And I think it is even more unusual coming from an Senate District chair,
who is chairing several conventions.

You may "not support his endorsment," but at least be honest with everyone,
you never have.
