Seems like noone responded to Barb's post. I've heard from others that
Dean Zimmerman isn't planning on running for the 6th ward race. Is he or
isn't he?
Insight has an interesting article about various races here:
http://www.insightnews.com/articles.asp?mode=display&articleID=1645
It includes this speculation:
People are wondering aloud who will replace Samuels in the new 3rd Ward.
Lisa Dziedzic's name comes up most frequently, but former candidates like
Olin Moore, who lost the DFL endorsement to Samuels by a hair's breadth,
Makeda Zulu and others, cannot be counted out. One speculation has Dziedzic
declining the opportunity to compete for the seat, and Dean Zimmermann
moving into the district to run.
EY: I'd not heard that one.
8th ward candidates - this is what I know of so far.... Additions,
Deletions?
