[Mpls] Police pensions...

George has already shared his solutions to the MPRA pension problem with
those who could do something about it. Unfortunately the "parasite
attorneys and politicians" would be removed from further opportunities to
remove millions from the fund in legal fees, lobbying fees, donations,
contributions etc. This is completely unacceptable to the powers that be.
Legal expenses for MPRA in the last 5 years were in excess of $5 million.
Of course this is only Minneapolis taxpayer money, easily replaced.
To put this in perspective, legal fees for Minneapolis Employees
Retirement Fund (MERF), a well run, professionally administered public fund,
ran approximately $20,000.00 per year. Why is that? MERF is approximately
5 times larger than MPRA. Possibly "parasitic lawyers and politicians"?
