Please attend the next meeting of the Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board.

When:  5:00pm to 8:00pm, Wednesday, July 6

Where:	Park Board administrative headquarters
	2117 West River Road


On the Agenda:

* Watch the continued discussion of Park Board policy on campaigning and 
passing out leaflets in the parks.  See if they manage to avoid a lawsuit from 
the ACLU for infringing upon Jason Stone's First Amendment rights.

* 5:30pm -- PUBLIC HEARING on the St. Anthony Parkway Regional Park Master 
Plan -- if you have an opinion, this is the time you get to share it.

* Approval of staff plans for land surrounding the Eloise Butler Wildflower 
Garden and Bird Sanctuary.  You may have read about the controversy in the 
paper.  The public may or may not get to say anything about these plans; it's 
unclear.

Not on the Agenda, but might come up:

* Yacht club sailing center on southeast shore of Lake Calhoun.

* Land give-away to DeLaSalle on Nicollet Island.

* The Marina revisited.

* Crown Hydro reincarnated.

* Restaurant in Loring Park.

* Bug-eyed Martians (unlikely, but one just never knows).
