[Mpls] In Ballot Box: "Vile and petty misrepresentations"

I am surprised that the campaign in Ward 10 appears to be getting so far "down in the mud". I expected substantive campaigns that would focus on the issues facing city hall. At this point in the game I don't think it matters who tried to block who at the endorsing convention. We all have war stories to tell about campaigning. Democracy is messy.
>From here forward, it's about who will do the work to reach the voters in the ward and resonate clear messages about how they will handle the issues facing the city. Lots of work to do and little time to do it.
I would be more interested in reading a post about what qualifications each candidate has that makes them ready to take a council member seat at city hall. After all, the person who gets this job will be on a "board of directors" so-to-speak of a major corporation in the State of Minnesota. What experience do each of the candidates have that prepares them to do this job?
I know a large number of people in the 10th Ward. I can't imagine any of them being interested in a dialog that diverts attention from the real issues facing this city. I hope the candidates can all agree to stay on the high road.
