Please elaborate. How does the fact that Britt Robson (disclosure: he is a co-worker of mine) doesn't live in the 5th ward "explain his initial response?" The Johnson Lee-Samuels contest is a product of gerrymandering. Do you mean to argue that candidates who are gerrymandered out of their original districts are under an ethical obligation to sell their homes? It seems to me that would just lead to accusations of carpetbagging.
