[Mpls] bookmobile and the power of action

Regarding the possible loss of the MPL Bookmobile:

I would suggest approaching the major car/truck/van manufacturers and asking for a donation of a suitable vehicle - there is every reason in the world to believe that such a donation is possible and probable - just a bit of phone-calling and letter-writing involved.  If millions of dollars could be gathered for Downtown, surely a hundred thousand or so in the form of a vehicle is likely.

Secondly, we may not be able to save the world but indeed we can and must change it, and in fact we do, every minute of every day we change the world with our thoughts and actions.  The point is to make these actions positive, creative, truthful and just, based on integrity and an informed, correct analysis of our local and global situation, organized in a strategic fashion so as to accomplish the good changes that will bring liberation and justice for all life.  

Remember Margaret Mead: "Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world, indeed, it is the only thing that ever has."
