This has to be the most entertaining thread I've ever read
in the List. "Ridiculous" is not the right word, I think
that "hilarious" is much more fitting. At one point I questioned
how representative the caucus process was and was assured that
it is important for party members to be involved. Well you've
certainly got involvement now, just maybe a little more than
desired. It's the PPERRIA nightmare: "The students are coming!
The students are coming!" And now all those stalwart DFLers who
are so intent on procedure are whining because they may be
out maneuvered. I've been told so many times that the NRP
is run by those who "show up" and many have said rightly so.
Well now it looks like the caucus is going to be run by those
who show up ... and are a little faster on their feet.
Go students! I'm most likely voting Green away. ;-)
It's not about involvement, it's about control.
