This month, hear from Omar Jamal, executive director of the Somali Justice Advocacy Center, about his recent comments to the National Press Club in Washington D.C.  In addition, Omar will discuss the culture and history of Somalia as well as the issues facing Somali immigrants in Minneapolis today.  Ali Ehal will also join us.  From 2000 to 2004, Minnesota's Somali population increased 124 percent, to a total of 25,000, the largest of any state in the nation.
