It is going to be expensive and the race because it is going to longer, but
hunger is the great equalizer and it is up to the person that can do the
kitchen table politics the best. That is who is going to be sitting at City Hall.
NO ENDORSEMENT is going to be a good lesson about manipulating the system and
then getting the indigenous results regardless. You can't be pro democracy
and gerrymander the system without this result. I mean really, how long you
think this gag order going to last about the big lie? It is the ELEPHANT in the
room kiddies...
The people don't trust you, they didn't really show up, or don't even know
where because the place they went to for years to caucus was moved to make it
easier for the candidates to get around? Now that is crazy talk!
This is because the use of omission and the backlash of the digital divide
that impacts the seniors that are the most consistent and loyal constituency,
and they were not invited or knew where to go, and don't event think of what is
online?
Endorsement? Whose? Oh yeah we are democratic. Just like to workers are
totally powerless to the Unions that endorse candidates all the while unions
still struggle with the legacy of sexism and racism.
But just don't be Norma Rae...Minnesota nice! There is nothing about moving
the poor so we can be Portland. But don't rock the boat, we can't have
conflict, just keep smiling and wait until you are gone to stab you in the back.
All the while...
People care more about the cost of bread, educating our kids and who will
take care of us when we are old. They want to participate but how? Last time I
thought politicians were representative of the community they represent?
The DFL is no better than the other guy if they use their play book, who has
the moral high ground and understands the intrinsic value of community and who
you are accountable to not the cash that you can stash and the power you can
manifest? We are disconnected to great Minneapolis Mayors had for our City
and our Nation. All the good placed in us and this is how we thank them?
Shame!
Get back to the basics, who we are, and all the work it took the grand kids
to dispose of it. You don't know the value until it is gone...Spoiled "me
generation" Reagan democrats that knew not to trust themselves over 30 and now
under 65 who raised their kids on MTV and video games and wonder why? But we
have lots of stuff, and do not even know who are neighbors are. We are just too
busy watching TV ... and hitting the super green stuff and they didn't buy it
on the Northside they got from their friend growing it in their basement.
Money is not representative Democracy it is just consumption. And who can
make the most noise. Just because you have money doesn't mean a thing, only if
you get that you have an obligation to contribute to the society that provides
you with the life you have.
The old DFL crowd? Where gender balance is still an issue and Affirmative
Action Statement has been even shortened because it must be said but not
implemented because it is all rhetoric really....
I hope that you all figure it out soon...
We got money for a stadium and not for GC. Go Goofers. How is that going to
help you wearing diapers sipping from a straw and the cure to cancer or AIDS
was not even thought of in the mind of that girl who lived in Phillips, and
she didn't get to go to the University and dropped out, but she is a wage slave
at Abbot cleaning your bed pans because you wanted box seats and now your
sipping from a straw? But you got a nice TV in your room. Wasn't Bob a first
generation student and how would he like working at Walmart, cleaning the scuffs
of the floor with a tennis ball on a stick. That is his vision for the
future. Go Goofers.
