You are both right and wrong at the same time. True, she was not 
endorsed. But, she won when Fraser endorsed her. He was a guy who 
retired out of office after we had elected him and re-elected him for 
both the fed. house office and the mayor's office. When he came down on 
Sharon's side, Rapson lost in the same moment. In the end, the 
preponderance of folks who would vote in the election followed Fraser's 
lead.

Also, when she ran the first time, she had an endorsement battle on her 
hands. I don't remember all those who lost. I was very new to Mpls. 
politics at that point and most of the names were pretty much a wash for 
me.
