In my earlier post I forgot to add that Council Member & ardent bike rider Dean Zimmermann
will be taking part in this Bike/Walk event and invites you to join him tomorrow at 7 am.
He will be biking the Uptown Minneapolis Route: Starting point: 2105 Lyndale Ave S,
outside the Wedge Co-op.

Join fellow commuters and elected officials for the Commuter Challenge Bike/Walk on
Thursday, May 5, 2005. This year's event has six organized bike routes and three organized
walk routes to Downtown Minneapolis. Elected officials will be accompanying some routes.
All routes will commence at 7:00 am and will converge at the Hennepin County Government
Center Plaza (on 5th Street) at about 7:30 am. Refreshments and prizes will be given away.
