Which officials and how many?

Basim Sabri settled for a lighter sentence by agreeing to plead guilty =
and admit that he bribed public officials to subvert the Inspections =
department and Neighborhood citizen participation process to get =
development and access to City money. In the deal for a lighter =
sentence Sabri also gave up any right to a future appeal.=20

The judge accepted the "Deal" and went on to say that he had received =
support for Sabri from Minneapolis City Council Member Dean Zimmermann. =
This brings up an interesting point. The judge said Sabri admitted =
bribing City of Minneapolis officials. Which other officials have been =
bribed? Which other Inspection department officials and which other =
City Council Members might have been put on the payroll for that new =
project? Which Council Members have been most supportive of Sabri?

It is time for the Mafia like tactics of the Sabri crime syndicate to be =
looked at more closely and opened up to the light of public scrutiny. =
Sabri, even though a known criminal and briber, has been allowed to do =
business in Minneapolis as if nothing had happened. He had the full =
support of a City Council Member to do anything he wanted, even when it =
went against City ordinance. He had the support of a Mayor who attempted =
to veto a non-decision to act for Sabri. (Fortunately a veto that even =
though a joke had to be overturned by our non-corrupt Council Members). =
That vote by those Council Members by the way renewed my faith in the =
Council. There are Minneapolis Council Members who will not be bought!

Sabri's organization will continue to do business while Basim Sabri is =
on vacation. Hopefully the U.S. Government will begin a Racketeering =
investigation of the crime organization while its head is in prison. =
Minneapolis deserves better government and politicians that will act =
ethically. While we have some good ones willing to fight such =
"Retirement Plans" we also have a few with other interests. =20
