One shouldn't base this on the stadium issue alone. Being more
republican than not in a decidedly non-republican town, I will
disagree with you. These guys are democrats, just not as far left as
you would like which is where the greens seem to be. i have argued
this on the st paul list where they are certain that Kelly is no
democrat and will jump to the republican party as soon as he can.
Kelly is a democrat just not progressive which is where most members
on that list are on the spectrum.
One issue does not define a person's politics which is what i think
David was getting at.
Since i am posting, it appears the DFL vote in the city is very close
for mayor. Close enough where the few non-DFL voters can make a
difference. Any opinions on that? I didn't vote here last election,
I was in St Paul.
