[Mpls] Our Beautiful Parkways

It's a beautiful drive around dusk along the River Parkway from Broadway
North all the way to South Mpls. The sights are luscious and the pace is
leisurely ... sometimes. The speed limit on our city's parkways is 25 miles
per hour and do you know that as I kept that pace, I was tailgated and
passed ... illegally, I think ... and not once or twice but by four
different vehicles! I was at the speed limit, not over and not under. This
happens over here on Victory Memorial Parkway as well, but I've never had
anyone actually pass me.

I think that if folks are interested in a quick commute from one place to
another, they oughta avoid the parkways and use the main thoroughfares with
the 30 mph or higher speed limits. Personally, I choose the parkways for the
slower pace coupled with some nice scenery.
