[Mpls] Strib park board editorial

Good post and accurate. The Star Tribune is failing in being a star
newspaper
and has been failing for many years. Just the endorsement process they put
forth as newsworthy is enough to chill bones. Four years ago, they accused
a candidate about lying about the church he went to...fact over fiction...he
had
been going to that church for about many years! What difference did it make?
Samantha Smart has advocated for private and business partnerships for the
libraries along with some other innovative ideas. What do they say about
her..
she is against them. This should be laughable but instead it is so wrong it
hurts to
the core. These are people's lives and beliefs that these untruths are being
said
about.
Yet the real truths seem distant for the Strib. They fringe the information
and
listen to the status quo...what we read in the Strib is what the Strib wants
us
to read and be influenced by.. I will not be influenced by poor journalism,
select journalism and place blame beyond the writers.
