     I suppose it was only due to the lack of a hotly contested race, but folks should be aware of the growing Latino community in the Third Ward, particularly on the Northeast side. I used to walk and bus thru those neighborhoods often while going to and from work and know that there are many many young Latino families that have moved into the area. I hope the Hofstede and Newman campaigns are taking note of that fact.
