In sum, Hauser put MM Anderson and T Nordyke on her lit because she
thought they would both be good park board members whether or not they
agreed with her votes as a park board member. When Anderson asked her to
stop distributing the piece, she stopped. No retraction has appeared in
City Pages yet, but then it doesn't come out till Wednesday.

I'm making no claims about Hauser vs. Glidden here (the two candidates
for the eighth ward council seat), just that Hauser corrected her
mistake when it was brought to her attention. Candidates are going to
make mistakes, mostly because we insist that candidates for public
office be homo sapiens.

For me it says the issue is dead. Since Eva Young does not live in the
eighth ward, it's no skin off her nose in any event.
