Pomeroy will challenge Bell for seat on county board

Former Winona City Clerk Jim Pomeroy has signed on to challenge Winona County Commissioner Duane Bell for his 1st District seat. 

Pomeroy filed late Friday to challenge the three-term incumbent. The 52-year-old said Sunday that he's considered running for public office in the past but waited until after retiring, which he did last fall.
