You're not sorry Bob.  Once again, your negative and pessimistic attitude
had to be spoken out loud.  The board certainly is paying for it.  These
people pay taxes just as you and I do and in addition they have a "charge"
to oversee a huge community asset.  Our public schools!!  I know and they
know they aren't perfect.  However just as democracy isn't perfect, it is
the best form of government in the world and our public schools are the line
in the sand between us retaining our way of life and losing it.  Educate,
educate, educate should be our mantra.  The second mantra should be get
involved, get involved, get involved and not just sit back in an arm chair
and cast stones and spread rumors as facts.

The big project at high school has started, wonder how much the cost overrun
will be.  The same furniture that is in the district and high school offices
should be reused.  I have heard from someone that someone wants cherry wood
floors in office and an interior designer to decorate.  Let's us spend the
money on basics and put anything extra in the classrooms.  Sitting on the
high school committee I know there is a need for millions of dollars worth
of work that  needs to be done, just to bring the high school back to, in
some cases, a safe place.  I hope the board keeps the community up to date
on the building and what money is going to be spent before it is spent.
